The whole series is comprised of one epic story that is still being written. It is intended to be complete in seven volumes, but the author has stated it could go on for longer.
This is one of those book series that you don’t want to put down. The story is so strong and so unpredictable with so many characters and different creatures that it feels like reading a perfect combination of “The Lord of the Rings” and “The Godfather“, furthermore Gorge R.R Martin (the author) is an explicit writer. He is a true word crafter and with an imagination that has taken this series to a different level.
As many of you have already been familiar with the HBO’s TV series “Game of thrones“, which is based on this book series, then there is no need to explain how good the book is but wait there is more! To my surprise I found the books to be more breath-taking and better in every sense than the show. The Books have more clarity, the plots and the twists are more tangible and the characters are well defined which the HBO guys are unable to replicate. This book is surely a page tuner, adventure at every corner and mystery in every shadow.
